(Victor Valley)– Victor Valley Marketing Group and Inland Empire United Way – Desert Communities Region are pleased to announce their fifth annual summer/fall food drive! We are pleased to partner with Gentiva Hospice, an affiliate of Kindred at Home, which also runs an annual food drive each August.
The High Desert’s premier marketing group will have boxes available at businesses throughout the High Desert, where anyone can drop off non-perishable food items began on August 1 and continues through September 30. All food collected will be donated to the Inland Empire United Way, Desert Communities Region, for distribution to those in need right here in the High Desert. Please join us in making sure that no one goes hungry in our community. When you see a collection box, bring your donation of non-perishable items and be a part of our outreach. The following businesses will have boxes available for your donations: Desert Community Bank – all local branches, Inland Empire United Way (Apple Valley office), ISU-Armac Insurance Agency, Kindred Hospice (formerly known as Gentiva Hospice), Performance Paint and Body, Route 66 Escrow, Service Master First Response, Valley Hi Honda, Valley Hi Nissan, Victor Valley Chamber of Commerce & Wheeler Dentistry.
If your business is interested in serving as a location for collection of food, please call Tamara Craver at (760) 953-7081 to arrange for a collection box.
