(Phelan)– Heritage Victor Valley Medical Group’s Phelan office has a new look, with the benefits extending well beyond its improved aesthetics to bolster member experience.
After nearly three weeks of reconstruction, the office reopened Wednesday, Oct. 18 and features upgrades to its lobby area, exam rooms, restrooms, nurses’ station and provider rooms. Even the office floors and walls were touched up, all in an effort to better accommodate valued members.
“It’s going to be more accessible for patients to have a more one-on-one interaction, right away,” Phelan Office Manager Alycia Nunez said.
In addition to modernizing the clinic, these renovations align with the high standards to which HVVMG members have become accustomed, according to Michael Umana, director of Clinic Operations.
“Members will be seated in a comfortable lounge and will experience pleasant and meaningful patient-healthcare provider interaction,” Umana said. “The goal is to build the long-term relationship between the patient and HVVMG.”
Staffed with four doctors that rotate throughout the week, HVVMG’s Phelan office is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Umana said additional providers will be joining the office in the future.
The office is located at 3936 Phelan Road, Phelan, and provides many of the same services as Victorville’s multi-suite facilities, 12408 Hesperia Road.
