Taylion High Desert Academy Helps Beautify the Desert as Part of the City of Victorville’s Community Clean Up Day

(Victorville)— On October 21st, Taylion High Desert Academy joined residents from across Victorville for the city’s Community Clean Up Day.

A total of 18 volunteers represented Taylion Academy, cleaning up the desert lot on the corner of Seneca Road and Amargosa Road, picking up a total of 29 bags of trash. Volunteers were composed of members of Taylion’s Student Council, parents, family members, and staff members, all giving a few hours of the day in order to make the desert a cleaner and safer place.

“This was our largest turnout of volunteers for a Community Clean Up Day,” said Taylion High Desert Academy Principal Evelyn Sandoval. “Our Student Council was eager to help out our community, and they did a fantastic job.”
