(Victor Valley)– Blankets, paper towels, trash bags, laundry and dish soap, cotton balls, bleach, cat supplies, toys, collars, and dog treats.  These were some of the many wish list items donated to VVAPL Humane Society by AmeriGas.  “We’re growing and expanding, and it’s important for us to reach out and get involved in our community,” said Amy Catalano, Customer Relations Representative and co-organizer of the donation drive.

The employees of the Adelanto branch of AmeriGas recently started their giving campaigns, with the goal of having a project every quarter.  Drive organizers Catalano and Customer Service Representative Diane Sanchez love animals, so focused their second campaign on meeting the needs of animals at VVAPL.  With two successful campaigns under their belt, the employees’ winter project will focus on helping children.

“Their passion and excitement about helping is amazing,” said Terry Saenz, VVAPL Media & Community Relations Director.  “We’re beyond grateful for their heart for our animals.”
