(Victor Valley)– In an effort to support local businesses, San Bernardino County is holding a special Vendor Outreach Event Jan. 25, County Supervisor Robert A. Lovingood announced.
Representatives from more than 20 County departments will be on hand to discuss a wide variety of goods and services purchased by the County. Local companies can learn how to become approved County vendors and search bid opportunities.
“We are hoping to maximize the number of local companies doing business with the County,” Lovingood said. “When we keep local dollars local, it helps businesses grow and that’s good for everyone.”
The Vendor Outreach Event is planned 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 25 at the Hilton Garden Inn, 12603 Mariposa Road in Victorville. Businesses are asked to respond by Jan. 17. For more information, contact Monique Hernandez at 909 387-2077 or at Monique.Hernandez@pur.sbcounty.gov.
