(Victor Valley)– Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) will be holding a Lunch and Learn event on January 10, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., in the Oak Room on the first floor of the main hospital building. This event is free and open to the public. The hospital’s Executive Chef, Joe Eidem, will be doing a cooking demonstration using a Wok, including tasting samples and recipe handouts.
While most Woks are used for stir-frying, they can be used in many other ways, such as steaming, braising, stewing, smoking, and making soups. At this healthy cooking demonstration, Chef Joe will be cooking a tasty Sicilian Cajun Chicken Pasta dish, while giving some tips on utilizing the Wok for a variety of flavors and health benefits.
To register for the Lunch and Learn event at ARMC, please email Bonnie Perez at PerezBo@armc.sbcounty.gov. The hospital is located at 400 North Pepper Avenue in Colton.
