(Apple Valley)– The Town of Apple Valley will offer extended hours for passport processing on Jan. 18. Normal processing hours are Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to noon, with afternoon appointments available upon request. Staff is available until 7 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month by appointment only.
Since 2003, the Town Clerk’s Office has processed more than 17,700 passports, and is rated as outstanding by the Department of State for its outstanding service as a Passport Acceptance Facility.
Standard passports for adults are $110. Passports for children age 15 and under are $80. Wallet-sized U.S. Passport Cards valid for land and sea crossings between the U.S. and Canada, Mexico, Bermuda and the Caribbean are $30 for adults and $15 for children 15 or younger. A separate processing fee of $25 must be paid separately for each passport processed.
