B-Movie Maven Beverly Gray to Speak at Dome Talks

(Victor Valley)– An obscure 1963 novel, a comedian-turned-film-director, an unlikely cast, a generation gap, and one word: “Plastics.”

The San Bernardino County Museum’s 2018 Dome Talks series continues with Beverly Gray, author of Seduced by Mrs. Robinson: How The Graduate Became the Touchstone of a Generation, published in November 2017.

The evening is co-sponsored by Inlandia Institute.

On the fiftieth anniversary of The Graduate, author Beverly Gray offers a smart, close reading and vivid, behind-the-scenes details about this iconic film-including all the drama and decision-making of the cast and crew. For movie buffs and pop culture fans, Seduced by Mrs. Robinson explores how The Graduate changed the future of filmmaking and rocked the late sixties world, reflecting and changing the era’s views of sex, work, and marriage.
