(Victor Valley)– Equity, inclusion and diversity are more than just buzzwords at Kaiser Permanente. They are at the core of our mission and beliefs, and we continue to be recognized for our trailblazing leadership in this arena.
Kaiser Permanente is one of five inductees into the new DiversityInc Top 50 Hall of Fame that, according to the publication, have demonstrated exceptional people management accomplishments and superior corporate values and culture.
“We are honored with this recognition of our steadfast efforts over the years. We understand that we all benefit from greater equity, inclusion and diversity in our industry, our communities, and the world, so we embrace opportunities to share what we’ve learned with others,” said Ronald L. Copeland, MD, FACS, senior vice president and chief equity, inclusion and diversity officer for Kaiser Permanente.
“Induction into the DiversityInc Top 50 Hall of Fame positions us to more boldly and broadly share what we’ve learned and to advance our learning in the process.”
Companies evaluated for the Hall of Fame have ranked No. 1 on DiversityInc’s Top 50 Companies for Diversity list since the 2012 survey, which recognizes top companies for diversity and inclusion management. Every year since 2010, Kaiser Permanente has ranked in the top five and held the No. 1 one spot in 2011 and 2016.
DiversityInc is a leading web-based diversity publication serving more than 450,000 unique monthly visitors with a mission to bring education and clarity to the business benefits of diversity.
