(Victorville) – Looking for a cool summer camp for your kids? Do you want to learn a new sport or train to be a lifeguard? The City of Victorville’s Recreation Division offers hundreds of summer programs, classes and activities for youth, teens and adults.
Information about the many offerings can be found in the summer edition of Victorville’s “Rec Pages & City Guide” that was distributed to homes recently.
“Victorville’s summer recreation programs are diverse enough to interest anyone,” stated Janie Lynch, Recreation Manager for the City of Victorville. “If you want to know about youth sports, facility rentals, or where to get your pet licensed; all of this and more can be found in the Rec Pages.”
According to Lynch, swim lessons are one of the most popular summer activities. She advises anyone interested in the swim program to register quickly. Swim classes are offered for students six months of age through adult.
Registration information for a variety of youth summer camps and affordable sports programs is contained in the “Rec Pages” along with information about City of Victorville services, parks facilities, news, and special events.
