(Victorville) – Four new rides are debuting at the San Bernardino County Fair as it kicks off its final weekend that will also boast the best musical lineup in years. Ready to thrill guests this weekend is Super Shot, slinging guests straight up into the air at high speeds where they will free fall back to the starting point and get a great view of the High Desert in the process. Also new Thursday is Star Tower, lifting ride goers 100 feet high into the air before swinging them around.
Shock Wave, which premiered for the first time at the SBC Fair Last year is also back this weekend lifting guests in a rotating circle. And what American Fair would be complete without bumper cars which have also been added for the final five days of the SBC Fair. “We know there a large part of our success is return visitors within the same Fair stretch, so we do everything we can to keep things fresh and add new items for them to see on a second or third visit,” said Geoff Hinds, General Manager of the SBC Fair. “We’ve also added a new local food vendor, Wild and Twisted Taters, as well as have some new vendors throughout our exhibit buildings.”
Don’t forget about Cub Country, offering a special kid-friendly zone with gentle fun for the little ones. The fair is anticipating a very busy weekend, with great weather and the largest musical lineup in history kicking off Thursday with Gin Blossoms followed by AMT and CMT nominated country act LANCO, then Dylan Scott on Saturday, Blue Oyster Cult on Sunday and Lifehouse on Monday. The The Fair is open May 24th through the 28th.
