(Apple Valley)– On July 31, 2018 a unique opportunity is coming to the High Desert. The League of California Cities Women’s Caucus in partnership with the Town of Apple Valley will present a workshop that will provide the information and tools required to become a representative of the State by serving on a Governor Appointed Committee. Barb Stanton, President of the Leagues Women’s Caucus brought this opportunity to the High Desert in an effort to get more local representation for the desert region.
Mona Pasquil, Appointment Secretary, Office of the Governor, has travelled throughout California giving an informative presentation on how to become involved at the State level through your service on a state board or commission. On Tuesday, July 31, 2018 Ms. Pasquil will be presenting in our community!
