(Victor Valley)– Assemblyman Jay Obernolte recognized Thompson Family Plumbing and Rooter as the 2018 Small Business of the Year for the 33rd Assembly District. Owners John and Devynn Thompson were honored at a ceremony in Sacramento during the California Small Business Association’s annual event.

John and Devynn established Thompson Family Plumbing and Rooter in 2013. Since then, the family-owned and operated company has hit the ground running and broken many barriers in their industry. Serving both residential and commercial plumbing services, Thompson Family Plumbing has developed a strong reputation in the industry by building trust with their clients and completing jobs in a timely manner. Customer interactions are handled professionally with open communication, superior service, and promptness.

“John and Devynn are lifetime residents of the High Desert, and as such, are committed to serving their local community whenever possible,” stated Assemblyman Obernolte. “They donate services to Hesperia Recreation and Park District, work with the disabled community, and partner with the San Bernardino County Fair. I want to congratulate them on their successful business, their numerous charitable endeavors, and the tremendous positive impact they’ve had on our community.”

Some of the many causes the Thompsons are involved in include being sponsors of the annual State of the City for the City of Hesperia and the City of Victorville, annual sponsors and volunteers for Rock’n Our Disabilities Easter and Christmas events, and sponsors for High Desert Chambers Coalition. Additionally, they are Leadership Partners with Hesperia and Victor Valley Chambers of Commerce and are strong supporters of the Williams Syndrome Association.
