Liberty Utilities Apple Valley’s Finance Manager Receives Distinguished Rotary Award

(Apple Valley) – Liberty Utilities Apple Valley Finance Manager Eric Larsen was recently recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow by the Rotary Club of Apple Valley. The prestigious recognition is bestowed based on a contribution to the Rotary Foundation made personally by Rotary District 5300 Governor Raghada Khoury in recognition of Larsen’s service to the Apple Valley Rotary Club.

“Eric is a genuine and caring person who has gone above and beyond the call of duty for the Rotary Club of Apple Valley, and has always done it with a smile,” said Khoury. “Eric contributes his invaluable time and talent, and he is very much appreciated.”

Larsen has been an integral member of Liberty Utilities Apple Valley’s leadership team since he was hired as Manager of Financial Services in May 2014. He has served the Rotary Club of Apple Valley since 2015, and currently holds the post of Club Director and Treasurer.

“Eric is a tremendous ambassador for Liberty Utilities Apple Valley and the Rotary Club of Apple Valley and we are grateful for all that he does to serve the community and local businesses,” said Tony Penna, Vice President and General Manager of Liberty Utilities Apple Valley. “Giving back is a top priority for Liberty Utilities, and Eric certainly leads by example.”

The Paul Harris Fellow recognition was created in memory of Paul Harris, the founder of Rotary, as a way to show appreciation for contributions to Rotary Foundation. Each Paul Harris Fellow receives a commemorative certificate and pin. Donations to the Rotary Foundation are utilized to fund projects that improve the quality of life and provide health care, clean water, food and other essential needs in developing countries. Projects include feeding the hungry, educating and vaccinating children, plus building houses, digging wells, planting trees and more.
