(Victor Valley) — Caltrans will be holding a hiring event for three classifications, Transportation Engineer (Civil), Transportation Engineering Technician and Transportation Surveyor, on August 22nd and 23rd at the District 8 Office located at 464 W. 4th Street, San Bernardino, CA 92401.
On the first day, candidates will submit their application and other paperwork for consideration. Check-in will begin at 10:00 a.m. Candidates may arrive any time between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. The following documents are required on check-in day:
- Signed and completed state application (STD 678). Refer to hiring flyer for job control number.
- Original photo identification and a copy of photo identification.
- Minimum of three letters of recommendation with contact information (reference checks will be conducted the day(s) of interview).
- If you possess an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree (from any state) in an engineering or surveying curriculum, please bring it with you.
Those applicants who meet the minimum qualifications will be scheduled for an interview on the following day, August 23, 2018.
The event will hire qualified candidates for positions in San Bernardino, Riverside, Ventura, Los Angeles, Orange, Kern, Inyo and Mono Counties.
