(Victorville) – One of two Cooking Channel shows filmed at this year’s SBC Fair is set to air August 9th.
“Michelin-starred chef Richie Farina hits the road to Southern California where he may have met his match at the San Bernardino County Fair,” according to the Cooking Channel. “Jessica and Daniel Lopez of Orale Taco Grille created a Deep-Fried Quesadilla they call the “Queso Loco” and it’s the food sensation of the fair. Now, Richie only has 24 hours to come up with his own version of their crazy concoction before battling it out in a head-to-head cook-off judged by fairgoers.”
For an episode of “Carnival Kings” local fairgoers watch the two square off to see who can create the best version, but to see who wins, you’ll have to tune into the Cooking Channel on August 9th at 9 p.m.For repeat airings visit www.cookingchanneltv.com.
Another popular cooking channel show – Carnival Eats – was also filmed during the fair. Stay tuned for more information on when that show will air.
“I think the fact that we received requests from not one, but two production companies for live television filmings speaks to the popularity and attendance of the SBC Fair, which continues to grow year after year,” said SBC Fair General Manager. “It was a pleasure having them here to showcase our venue.”
