(Victor Valley)– The Mojave Desert Air Quality Management District is closed on Thanksgiving Day as well as the Friday after Thanksgiving. The agency will also be closed December 22, 2018 through January 2, 2019. For any emergency air quality issues, please contact Community Relations and Education Supervisor Ryan Orr at 760-493-3549.
The MDAQMD, a fee-based regulatory agency, is remaining closed during these times for efficiency and as a cost-saving measure. District staff will be available to monitor air quality conditions and keep the public informed of any necessary air quality news and alerts. For complaints please call 1-800-635-4617.
MDAQMD is the air pollution control authority and permitting agency for the High Desert portion of San Bernardino County and the Palo Verde Valley in Riverside County.
