(Adelanto)– Scrubbing and saturating for dust control has begun on the site for the new ARCO gas station at the southeast corner of Air Expressway and Highway 395. This becomes the latest development in Adelanto, and will include a convenience store and a yet-to-be-named fast food restaurant.
“The plans this Council put in place over the last few years to stimulate economic development are continuing to yield results.” said Mayor Richard Kerr. “It’s like an early Thanksgiving because soon our residents and travelers along Highway 395 will have another option to fuel the vehicle or stop for a meal,” Kerr added.
Although a construction start date hasn’t been announced, Puebla Construction, Inc. will begin grading the site this week for the 6,200 square feet building.
“This project is another in a stream of projects that will generate point-of-sales tax revenues for our City, and jobs for our residents,” said Jessie Flores, City Manager.
