(Victorville)– The City of Victorville is seeking applicants to fill vacancies on two committees, the City of Victorville Legislative Review Committee and the City of Victorville Community Services Advisory Committee.
Planning Commissioners serve at the pleasure of the City Council and attend monthly public hearings to review matters related to planning and development. These matters include such things as the general plan, specific plans, rezoning, use permits and subdivisions. The compensation for members of the Planning Commission is $150.00 each regular meeting and $75.00 each adjourned meeting, not to exceed $375.00 per month.
Legislative Review Committee Members serve at the pleasure of the City Council and meet on an as-needed basis to review and make recommendations to the City Council as it relates to proposed ordinances and other legislative matters affecting the City of Victorville.
Community Services Advisory Committee members serve at the pleasure of the City Council and meet on a monthly basis to review and make recommendations to the City Council as it relates to community services, recreation, golf, facility/park development and more.
Applicants for the positions of Planning Commissioner, Member of the Legislative Review Committee and Member of the Community Services Advisory Committee must be residents of the City of Victorville.
