(Victor Valley)– San Bernardino County Assessor-Recorder-Clerk Bob Dutton signed & delivered the 117th Supplemental Assessment Roll to the County’s Auditor-Controller/Treasurer/Tax Collector.
Supplemental Assessment Roll #117 contains a net assessed value of $7,509,013,165, with a majority of new values reflected in changes of property ownership followed by new construction.
“As required by state law to ensure fair and accurate property values, the 117th Supplemental Assessment Roll has been signed and delivered to the County’s Auditor-Controller/Treasurer/Tax Collector,” said San Bernardino County Assessor-Recorder-Clerk Bob Dutton.
A Supplemental Roll is provided three times a year, in addition to the annual Property Assessment Roll, which is delivered in June. State law requires county assessors to reappraise property upon a change in ownership or new construction to identify changes in assessed value that occur in the middle of a fiscal year, whether an increase or decrease. Supplemental assessments are issued on real property such as land, improvements, fixtures and taxable possessory interests, but do not apply to personal property or any property not subject to Proposition 13.
