(Victorville)– The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for the desert areas including the City of Victorville, March 5 through March 7. Rain is also predicted.
The strongest winds are predicted for mid-morning on Wednesday, March 6. Strong winds can reduce visibility and make driving conditions difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles. Beware of objects blowing across roads, fallen trees, etc. Avoid downed power lines and report them to 911.
DO NOT cross flooded roads. Turn around, don’t drown.
Sandbags are available at Victorville fire stations 311, 312, 313, 314, and the Victorville Public Works yard on McArt. Sand is available at fire stations 312, 313, and 314.
