Linebreakers Celebrates Free Comic Book Day and Star Wars Day on May 4th in Victorville

(Victorville)– Linebreakers, the High Desert’s premiere game and hobby store in historic downtown Victorville, will be celebrating Free Comic Book Day and Star Wars Day on May 4th with a day filled with games, demonstrations, and of course, free comic books.

“We invite the entire High Desert to join as we celebrate free comic books and the amazing Star Wars franchise!,” said David McKean, Owner of Linebreakers. “We have a lot of exciting activities planned for the day, we will have fun for all ages.”

The day will kick-off at 10 a.m. with a host of free comic books being made available for all. Part of a worldwide celebration, Free Comic Book Day has special edition comics available for free from a number of different publishers. The event will also include photo opportunities with well-known cosplayers, carnival type games with a Star Wars twist, demonstrations of a number of tabletop gaming properties, and more.

The 501st Legion will also be on hand with their amazing cosplayers and members, making for a memorable Saturday.  The 501st Legion is a worldwide Star Wars costuming organization comprised of and operated by Star Wars fans. Live broadcasts will be happening throughout the day as well from pop culture news websites including Pastrami Nation and The Sarlacc Digest.

The comic book and gaming store has been a mainstay in downtown Victorville for years, carrying a variety of products ranging from comic books, graphic novels, action figures, tabletop gaming, and more.
