Create Memories with New Food Items at this Year’s SBC Fair

By Staff Reports

(Victor Valley)– This year’s San Bernardino County Fair will once again feature never before served food items from local and regional vendors that are sure to give your taste buds a run for their money.

As always, calories don’t count at the SBC Fair, but there’s no doubt the Suck it Up Concessions Jalapeño Lemonade and frozen peanut butter bananas will meet your healthy food quota. Try their ice cream rolled in flaming hot Cheetos or Fruity Pebbles for a new twist on favorite Fair fare. Local favorite, Gridiron Pizza will be on site with a brand new trailer serving up fresh pizza pies prepared on site along with their traditional favorites such as wings and mozzarella sticks.

“Food is always one of the main attractions at any successful county fair,” said Geoff Hinds, SBC Fair General Manager. “We are always looking to bring in local vendors and unique items to ensure that is a variety of items and a novelty so that folks can try something they’ve never tried before.”

Fan favorites from years past will be back this year including Órale Taco Grille, which was featured at last year’s Fair on the Food Network’s Carnival Kingsshow. Vendors featured on the Food Network’s Carnival Eats show at last year’s Fair will also be back this year to serve up their culinary masterpieces. Tony’s Concessions will be on hand to dish up delectable deep fried cheesecake, twinkies, Snickers and more.

Be sure to checkout other salivating options like the Lobster Trailer, Fried Fantasy and more local favorites like Wild Bill’s Smoky Meats and Kona Ice.

Along with the new vendors and items at the fair, the traditional culinary treats that have become fair mainstays – from giant turkey legs to funnel cakes – will be available. Bring your appetites and remember that calories don’t count at the SBC Fair.

The year’s SBC Fair with the theme of “Create Memories,” will run from May 25 – June 3. Presale tickets are on sale now. Go to www.sbcfair.com for more information or call (760) 951-2200. Share your memories of this year’s fair with the #CreateMemories.
