(Victorville)– Earlier this month, the City of Victorville hosted its first-ever Neighborhood PopUp. The PopUp at Brentwood Park featured a Bark in the Park and Movie in the Park. Brentwood neighbors were treated to free refreshments, carnival games, a doggie fashion show, two pop up dog parks, and a showing of The Secret Life of Pets.
City officials estimate more than 700 people attended this fun, family event that is part of the City’s renewed goal to get out in the community and better connect with residents. City staff manned the carnival games and shared information about City services with those in attendance.
The City plans to hold additional PopUps in the coming months. Who knows, the next PopUp might just be in your neighborhood!
Midway Home Solutions, Scandia Family Fun Center and Victor Valley Animal Protective League generously donated prizes in support of this event.
