Learn How to Protect Your Neighborhood at National Night Out Aug. 6

(Victor Valley)– Residents around San Bernardino County will come together on the evening of Thursday, Aug. 6 for the 36th annual National Night Out.National Night Out is a community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances. Local National Night Out events include:

  • Apple Valley, 5-8 p.m., Apple Valley Commons, 20288 Highway 18
  • Barstow, 6-9 p.m. Dana Park, 841 Barstow Road
  • Hesperia,5- 8 p.m. Civic Plaza Park, 15833 Smoke Tree
  • Silver Lakes,5 – 8 p.m. on North Beach
  • Victorville,Victorville City Hall, 14343 Civic Drive.
  • Yermo,6-9 p.m. Yermo Community Center, 38315 McCormick St.
