(Victor Valley)– The astronomical wonders of the Mojave Desert’s summer skies will be the focus of the Victor Valley Museum’s Cosmic Night on Saturday, Aug. 10 from 8 to 9:30 p.m.
Telescope viewing takes place outdoors and is weather permitting. The museum galleries will be open during this event and regular admission applies. The event is in partnership with the High Desert Astronomical Society based at the Luz Observatory at the Lewis Center for Educational Research. The nonprofit organization will provide telescopes for viewing the desert’s sky in front of the museum. The Victor Valley Museum is at 11873 Apple Valley Road in Apple Valley.
