The Apple Valley Town Council is seeking applicants for a vacancy on the Town of Apple Valley Planning Commission. Planning Commissioners are appointed by Council Members and serve up to a four-year term coterminous with the appointing Council Member’s term.  Council Member Curt Emick is seeking a replacement for his Commissioner appointment.

Duties and Powers of the Planning Commission shall be all those functions, powers and duties as provided in Chapters 3 and 4 of Title 7, Section 65100 of the California Government Code.  The Planning Commission shall also perform such other duties and functions, as may be designated by the Town Council.

Interested residents should either complete a Town application or submit a letter of interest and a resume to the Town Clerk at 14955 Dale Evans Parkway, Apple Valley, California by Monday, November 18, 2019 at 4:00 p.m.  Applications are available at the Town Clerk’s office at (760) 240-7000, ext. 7800.
