(Victor Valley)– The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) continues work on the Interstate 15 (I-15) interchange project in Victorville. The work will require north and south bound lane and ramp closures from Quarry Road (near Osborne Airport) to Mojave Drive.
Northbound long-term lane closures will take place October 21 from 6:00 p.m. through October 24at 9:00 a.m. Two lanes will remain open during this closure from Mojave Drive to Stoddard Wells Road. On and off ramps subject to closures include: D Street, E Street, Stoddard Wells Road
Southbound lane closures will take place October 21through October 26 from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., from Stoddard Wells Road to Mojave Drive. On and off ramps subject to closures include: D Street, E Street and Stoddard Wells Road.
Closure of the East Frontage Road will take place October 21 from 6:00 a.m. through October 27 at 5:00 a.m. from Stoddard Wells Bridge on and off ramps to Falchion Road. The detour will be to use northbound I-15 Freeway.
Closures on the West Frontage Road will take place October 25 from 6:00 a.m. through November 4 at 5:00 a.m. This area will not be closed to through traffic however the southbound I-15 Stoddard Wells on and off ramps will be closed. The detour for southbound traffic will be Stoddard wells Road to SR-18. The detour for northbound traffic will be Stoddard wells Road to Bell Mountain Road.
D Street, E Street and Stoddard Wells Road will be open to through traffic during the ramp closures. Remember to reduce your speed in the work zone. Be advised, weather conditions may affect this operation.
