By Staff Reports

(Apple Valley)– The Town of Apple Valley’s Recreation Center will serve as an early voting site for the 2020 Presidential Primary Election.

The center is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. through Saturday, Feb. 29 and on Monday, Mar. 2 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and again on Election Day, Tuesday, Mar. 3 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Recreation Center is located at 14955 Dale Evans Parkway.

“The Town is pleased to be one of only six early voting sites in San Bernardino County. We want to offer voters added convenience to be able to cast their election ballot,” said La Vonda Pearson, Apple Valley Town Clerk.

Eligible citizens who missed the voter registration deadline on Feb. 18 still have an opportunity to exercise their right to vote through the conditional voter registration process.

To qualify, individuals must complete and submit a voter registration application in person at the Registrar of Voters Office or an Early Vote site on or before Election Day, or at a polling place on Election Day. The voter will then be given a provisional ballot to cast. It is recommended that individuals complete the conditional voter registration process before Election Day.
