Hesperia Parks Offers a Variety of Classes

(Hesperia)– Hesperia Recreation and Park District offers classes for all of your special interest needs, at an affordable price.

Whether you want to go “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” or you want to rock the guitar like Carlos Santana, we offer both Ukulele and Guitar classes. Ukulele classes take place on Thursdays from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Power Play Center located at 10770 “I” Avenue. Guitar classes take place on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Rick Novack Community Center located at 13558 Palm Street.

Do you have a furry friend that you love, but never listens? Bring them to our Basic Dog Obedience class, and regain your power of Master. Classes take place on Saturdays from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Lime Street Dog Park located at 16292 Lime Street.

Hear that buzzing? Come join the Quilting Bee class every 2nd Saturday from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m. and see what all the buzz is about! Classes are located at Rick Novack Community Center at 13558 Palm Street.

If you need a little mystery in your life, join our Sampler Block Quilting class, where every month you receive a new mystery block to make! Classes take place every 2nd Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Rick Novack Community Center at 13558 Palm Street.
