(Victor Valley)– The County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday approved funds for environmental work to widen Phelan Road from just west of Highway 395 to Highway 138.
“This is a greatly needed project that will improve traffic flow along this important roadway,” Supervisor Lovingood said. The environmental work will be funded through the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority Measure “I” funds, the countywide half-cent sales tax. Construction of the approximately 12-mile widening project is expected to be completed by early 2025.
