Interstate 15 Lane and Ramp Closures in Victorville

(Victorville)– The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) continues work on the Interstate 15 (I-15) interchange project in Victorville. The work will require north and south bound lane and ramp closures from Quarry Road (near Osborne Airport) to Mojave Drive.

Southbound lane closures from Stoddard Wells Road to Mojave Drive will take place April 20 through April 24. Nighttime and daytime closures will occur Monday through Wednesday, April 20 through April 22, from 9:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. the following day. Wednesday through Friday, April 22 through April 24, daily closures will take place from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. On and off ramps subject to closures include: D Street, E St and Stoddard Wells Road.

Northbound lane closures from Mojave Drive to Stoddard Wells Road will take place April 20 through April 24. Nighttime and daytime closures will occur Monday through Wednesday, April 20 through April 22, from 9:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. the following day. Wednesday through Friday, April 22 through April 24, daily closures will take place from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. On and off ramps subject to closures include: D Street, E Street and Stoddard Wells Road.

When implemented, these lane closures will reduce the freeway to one lane for the traveling public.

Daytime lane closures are for final pavement marking installation and will be intermittent throughout the dates listed above. Proceed with extra care during these final construction operations as closures may vary day-to-day.

Remember to reduce your speed in the work zone. Be advised, weather conditions may affect this operation.

Please note, the Contractor has the ability to open the lane closures to the traveling public as to mitigate any excessive traffic back-up.
