Important Changes from the Community Action Partnership of San Bernardino County (CAPSBC)

By Staff Reports

(Victor Valley)– During the Coronavirus pandemic, Community Action Partnership of San Bernardino County is committed to safeguarding the health of their clients and employees while continuing to serve those in need. To do that, they have made some changes to how they deliver their services.

For the time being, they will no longer see walk-in clients. Instead, they ask that you contact them via telephone or through their website to schedule appointments for services from their Family Development Program (FDP) and Energy, Education, and Environmental Services (EEES) Program.

Family Development Program services include housing assistance, emergency food boxes, and their free VITA tax preparation. Please call the department at 909-723-1558 for an assessment and to make an appointment for these services.

Their Energy, Education, and Environmental Services Program is also assisting clients by appointment only and they are no longer conducting workshops in order to follow social distancing recommendations.

If you need assistance with utility bills or weatherization, they have created a secure system for you to apply for help and submit documents online.

If you cannot access that system, click here to locate and download an application; once you have completed it, email or mail it back to them.
