Apple Valley, Victor Valley Legacy Museums call for volunteers

By Staff Reports

(Victor Valley)– As the Apple Valley Legacy Museum and the Victor Valley Legacy Museum reopen, they are in need of volunteer docents. Both are non-profit projects of the High Desert Community Foundation.

If you have a knowledge of local history, or an interest and willingness to learn, if you are reliable, friendly, and willing to cover one or more three-hour weekly shifts, please call Marcy Taylor at (760) 985-1918. The Apple Valley Legacy Museum is located at the old Bob Hope Cottage #153 at the Apple Valley Inn, and the Victor Valley Legacy Museum is located in the Santa Fe Trading Post complex on Seventh Street in Victorville. The Apple Valley Legacy Museum is holding a Vintage Collectibles Sale, 4-8 p.m., July 10, 11, and 12, which is a perfect opportunity to stop in and see everything the museum has to offer.  https://www.facebook.com/applevalleylegacymuseum
