(Victor Valley)– On August 25th, the National Park Service celebrated its 104th birthday. The NPS was established on August 25, 1916 to preserve our nation’s majestic landscapes, treasure historic places, and help tell the American story. Our District is home to both Death Valley and Joshua Tree National Parks, and it’s important that we appreciate the culture and history these special places hold.
Thank you to all NPS employees for your important work and dedication to the great outdoors!
