Marines come through for High Desert – again

By Staff Reports

(Victor Valley)– Thank you to Marine Col. Craig Clemans and his team at the Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow for lending military tents for a Field Treatment Site in case of a possible hospital patient surge. After a request from the City of Victorville for assistance, the First District office contacted the Marine Corps Logistics Base. Base officials moved quickly, and four hours after initial contact, the Marines informed us the request was approved to provide and deliver three military tents for in case of patient overflow. Special thanks to Supply Manager Mr. Richard Green and Mr. Anthony McGlothen.

In years past, the Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow lent military tents to house local homeless people through the Victor Valley Warming Shelter project. The assistance and speedy response from our military neighbors is greatly appreciated!
