(Victor Valley)– The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention now says asymptomatic people no longer need to get tested for COVID-19, a quiet change the federal agency recently made to its online guidelines.
“You do not necessarily need a test unless you are a vulnerable individual or your health care provider or state or local public health officials recommend you take one,” the CDC now recommends. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/hcp/testing-overview.html The County of San Bernardino will continue to offer testing opportunities for residents in an effort to work toward meeting the testing criteria set by the state of California.
