Air Show to soar over Victor Valley Oct. 10

(Victor Valley)– In a new twist, the Edwards Air Force Base Air Show will feature flyovers across the Victor Valley Saturday, Oct. 10. The event will feature flyovers of F-16 Falcons, F-22 Raptors, F-25 Lightning IIs and F/A Hornets, in addition to several bombers. Aircraft will fly over Lancaster, Palmdale, Hesperia, Apple Valley, Victorville, Barstow, Fort Irwin, Ridgecrest, NAS China Lake and Rosamond. On Friday, Oct. 9, the aircraft will pass over Lancaster, Palmdale, Rosamond, Mojave, Tehachapi, Bakersfield, California City and Boron.

“We are not going to a have a whole bunch of people on the installation … boots on the ground, 412th Test Wing commander, Brig. Gen. Matthew Higer said. “It’s going to morph into something that would be like a parade of planes.”  To view the live telecast of the event starting at 11 a.m. click on
