(Phelan)– One of the High Desert’s best-kept secrets, Forever Wild Exotic Animal Sanctuary opened in Phelan on July 6, 2009.
Designated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, the sanctuary is dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating abused, neglected and abandoned exotic animals. Some of the animals at the sanctuary include leopards, tigers, an African lion, cinnamon bear, golden eagle, and an adorable pack of raccoons.
