Contactless candidate filing for Consolidated Mail Ballot Election

(Victor Valley)– Starting today, citizens interested in running for Member of the Board of Directors for Baker Community Services District or Mariana Ranchos County Water District can begin the candidate filing process online or at the offices of the San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters and the two Districts.

The Registrar of Voters offers contact-free services to candidates for the August 31, 2021 Consolidated Mail Ballot Election using the My Candidacy Gateway web application and video conference appointments.

Registered voters within the two Districts can use the My Candidacy Gateway web application to begin the candidate filing process and schedule an appointment to file candidacy documents.

My Candidacy Gateway is available on the Registrar of Voters website at www.SBCountyElections.com. This web application provides candidates with the option to schedule a video conference or in-person appointment. 

Candidate filing for the August 31, 2021 Consolidated Mail Ballot Election continues through 5 p.m. on Friday, June 4. Appointments with Registrar of Voters staff are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. In-person appointments will be conducted at the San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters, 777 E. Rialto Avenue in San Bernardino.

Interested citizens can also pick up candidacy documents from the offices of Baker Community Services District and Mariana Ranchos County Water District during their normal business hours. District office location and hours can be found on their websites at bakercsd.com and www.marianaranchoscwd.org.
