(Victor Valley)– The annual, preeminent air quality and industry event of the Southwest can no longer be kept down by the COVID-19 pandemic. And the California Desert Air Working Group (CDAWG) conference is making up for lost time.
Hosted at the beautiful MGM Grand Resort & Casino, with a reception at Top Golf, this year’s conference in Las Vegas is shaping up to be one for the history books. With California Air Resources Board Executive Officer Richard Corey back as the keynote speaker and all proceeds raised going to the Mojave Environmental Education Consortium, the Mojave Desert Air Quality Management District has been organizing the event for more than 25 years.
“This event truly has become a valuable resource for regulatory and permitted agencies alike to learn new trends and to find efficient ways to work better together,” said Brad Poiriez, MDAQMD Executive Director and Air Pollution Control Officer.
The conference this year is scheduled Nov. 3 and 4 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
For the first time in many years, sponsorships are available at multiple levels, but spots are limited. Visit the official CDAWG page to download a sponsorship flyer, register for the conference and get special reservation pricing for conference-designated hotel rooms at the MGM.
