(Victor Valley)– On July 13 at 5 p.m., the Victorville City Council and Planning Commission will host a joint public meeting to review and provide input on the initial Housing Element Draft. The Housing Element, which is part of the City’s General Plan Update, outlines housing goals for Victorville’s future growth. Members of the community are invited to attend this meeting in person in Council Chambers at Victorville City Hall or via Zoom or YouTube. The meeting agenda, Zoom and YouTube details will be available on July 12 at VictorvilleCA.gov/agendas.
Feedback during the meeting is encouraged. Individuals who wish to provide written comments can email firstname.lastname@example.org. All comments received prior to 12 p.m. on July 12 will be provided to the Victorville City Council and Planning Commission during the meeting.
Community members can view the Housing Element Draft prior to the meeting at vv.city/housingelement.
The City of Victorville is in the process of updating its General Plan, which is used by the City to plan for future growth and change in Victorville. In addition to planning for future housing needs, the City will be updating General Plan chapters related to land use and safety and creating a new chapter on Environmental Justice.
