BLM Encourages Adoption of Wild Horses, Burros as Drought Intensifies

(Victor Valley)– The Bureau of Land Management is seeking homes for herds of wild horses and burros as the drought intensifies across the West.

According to the agency, many of the water sources throughout the desert have been drying up. The BLM has started hauling supplemental water for some herds before an emergency gather can take place.
