(Victor Valley)– On the 20-year anniversary of 9/11, the San Bernardino County Fire Protection District will be holding a Reflection Ceremony in honor of those who lost their life that horrific September 11, 2001 and to those who continue to suffer. We invite you and the public to join us for this tribute.
What: 9/11 Reflection Ceremony
When: Saturday, September 11, 2021, 8:00 a.m.
Where: San Bernardino County Fire Stations
(Visit www.sbcfire.org to locate your nearest full-time, professional fire County fire station)
The 15-minute Reflection Ceremony will take place at all full-time San Bernardino County Fire Stations. Ceremony will include a reflection of 9/11 events, the lowering of the U.S. flag to half-staff, and the tolling of the bell.
The ceremony includes the sounding of sirens twice during the ceremony. In an effort not to alarm nearby residents, we are asking for your assistance. Please announce in advance and that morning, that sirens will be sounding simultaneously throughout San Bernardino County between 8:00 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. as a tribute to the victims of September 11, 2001.
