(Yermo)– Every year, Calico Ghost Town brings out the scare, fun and excitement of Halloween. This annual event includes trick-or-treating, costume contests, pumpkin carving, kids’ carnival tent, live entertainment shows, haunted attractions, and more.
Entertainment includes Twinkle Time (bilingual pop artist for kids) and Hollywood Magic Castle member, Danny Magic performing on our Main Street Stage.
Costume Contests Visitors can enter our costume contest in one of the following categories to win a prize: funniest, cutest, scariest, and most creative. Dogs can join in on the fun too as Dorsey’s Dog House hosts its dog costume contest on Saturdays.
Campsite Contest Campers can also participate in our annual Ghost Haunt Campsite Decorating Contest based on the “Nightmare on Ghost Town Road” theme. Dates, Admission & Hours This year’s haunt will take place over two weekends, Oct. 22-24 and Oct. 29-31. Each Friday the fun begins from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., on Saturdays 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sundays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. General admission for adults (12 & over) is $15, youth (ages 4-11) is $10 and ages 3 and under are free. Campers will also receive free admission with Ghost Haunt camping reservations. All ages are welcome.
